It’s been a fun couple of days on our homestead in central North Carolina. Early in the week, the meteorologists were predicting a snow storm would roll in on Friday evening and bring us about 6-8 inches of snow. That may not be a big deal in many parts of the country, but in much of the South, this is a showstopper. It’s the kind of event that shuts everyone up in their houses for a few days and with good reason– the roads don’t get plowed and there isn’t much open. So, stay home and enjoy the snow!

Well, things didn’t turn out as planned. The storm shifted a bit to the north and we only got a mix of rain, sleet and a small amount of snow. That is, until mid morning on Saturday when it snowed solidly for a few hours. I took the opportunity to position the new GoPro camera I got for Christmas to capture some of the action. The result is the video below we called “Our View of The World.” We had a lot of fun putting this together. Enjoy!
